According to recent reports from TMW, Atalanta is considering Milan winger Alexis Saelemaekers as they look to strengthen their attacking options for the upcoming season. The departure of head coach Thiago Motta may have played a significant role in this decision, as the team seeks additional depth in their squad.

Atalanta sees Saelemaekers as a valuable addition to their squad, particularly in bolstering their attacking options on the flanks. His versatility could provide manager Gian Piero Gasperini with more tactical flexibility, potentially allowing him to use a 3-4-3 formation more frequently. Although Atalanta had previously considered Nicolò Zaniolo, the player is currently not in their plans. Saelemaekers could be a useful alternative for the team, especially as they seek additional depth in their squad.

On another note, there are ongoing negotiations surrounding Teun Koopmeiners, who recently returned to Atalanta following an injury sustained before the European Championship. The midfielder is of interest to Juventus, but talks have hit a roadblock as the Bianconeri prioritize closing a deal for Douglas Luiz.
