Mike Tyson recently experienced an ulcer flare-up while on a cross-country flight from Miami to Los Angeles, just weeks before his scheduled boxing match against Jake Paul. The incident occurred 30 minutes before landing, and Tyson became nauseous and dizzy due to the pain.

Despite the setback, Tyson is now feeling great and appreciative of the medical staff who helped him on the flight. Flight attendants reached out to passengers for a doctor, and paramedics boarded the plane upon landing to assist Tyson.

The upcoming fight between Tyson and Paul will be Tyson’s first professional fight in nearly two decades at the age of 57. The fight will be broadcast live on Netflix and take place at the AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas. Tyson, a former undisputed world heavyweight champion with a winning record of 50-6, last fought professionally in 2005 against Kevin McBride and had an exhibition match against Roy Jones Jr. in 2020.

Netflix, known for its latest venture into live sports, will air the highly anticipated fight between the boxing legend and Jake Paul. Stay updated with the latest news by following Deadline on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram.
