On Monday, Midland Police Department and Midland County Sheriff’s Office received several calls regarding various incidents. At 11:26 p.m., police responded to the 700 block of Sylvan for a domestic verbal dispute, followed by a response to the 2200 block of Jefferson at 9:03 p.m. for a report of lost property.

Later in the evening, a deputy returned a wallet to a 64-year-old man from Homer Township that was found on a nearby roadway at 8:29 p.m. Deputies were dispatched to a Coleman business at 7:51 p.m. for a complaint of malicious destruction of property that caused $100 worth of damage. They spoke with a 42-year-old suspect from Coleman.

At 5:16 p.m., deputies investigated a delayed report of criminal sexual assault at a residence in Jerome Township, and also found a woman in possession of controlled substance while receiving treatment at MyMichigan Medical Center at 4:33 p.m.. A report has been forwarded to the prosecutor for both incidents
