Keck Medicine of USC has announced a collaboration with Midi Health, a clinic specializing in midlife women’s health, to provide personalized care plans for individuals going through perimenopause and menopause. This partnership offers women aged 40 and older access to a virtual care platform where they can connect with nurse practitioners who specialize in these stages of life. The nurses are overseen by physicians and researchers, and the platform offers interventions such as lifestyle coaching and prescription medication.

Midi Health has recently experienced significant growth and expansion, securing $14 million in seed investment in 2022 followed by a $25 million Series A funding round in 2023, which was led by Google Ventures. They have since expanded their services to all 50 states and partnered with Memorial Hermann Health System in Houston to provide virtual care services to patients. Additionally, Midi Health has teamed up with Neurotrack to help determine whether brain fog symptoms in women are related to menopause or potentially serious cognitive impairment. They recently secured $60 million in a Series B funding round, bringing their total funding to $100 million.

Other companies offering virtual care services to women include Evernow, Ovia Health, and Uplive, focusing on various aspects of women’s health and wellness. This collaboration with Keck Medicine will make expert, personalized midlife care more accessible to female patients in Southern California, allowing them to live better, more productive lives.
