The Memorial Tournament, taking place in Ohio, United States, is currently being led by Adam Hadwin at -6. Just behind him is Scottie Scheffler at -5. Xander Schauffele, Ludvig Aberg, Corey Conners, and Collin Morikawa are all tied at -4. Viktor Hovland, Billy Horschel, Akshay Bhatia, Tommy Fleetwood, and Seamus Power are all tied at -3. Rory McIlroy is at -2 while Matt Fitzpatrick is at +1 and Justin Rose is at +8.

Hadwin posted an impressive six-under-par 66 in the opening round of the tournament despite a bogey on his last hole. He currently holds a slim lead over Scheffler who is five under. American Schauffele and Morikawa along with Sweden’s Aberg and Canada’s Conners are all tied for fourth place as they sit four under par. Fleetwood and Power from England and Ireland respectively are among the five golfers tied for third place as they sit three under par.

The tournament has a $20 million purse and it’s one of the premier events on the PGA Tour’s schedule with a 73-player field competing for it. One of the notable players in this year’s Memorial Tournament is Justin Rose who had a challenging day finishing last after a triple-bogey on the 18th hole left him eight over par.
