Her resignation became effective on June 7, marking a new beginning for her in her charitable endeavors. Although she did not mention the exact location of her current residence, French Gates moved to the North Broadway neighborhood of Seattle where she can easily walk to stores and other amenities in the area. This is a stark contrast to her previous home, Xanadu 2.0, located in the Medina suburb of Seattle, which was worth over $183 million and much larger in size. French Gates is happier with the simplicity of her new home and neighborhood, contrary to the opulence of her former residence.
