Lucinda Montgomery has been named the new Dean for the School of Trade and Technology at West Georgia Technical College (WGTC). Prior to her appointment, Montgomery served as the Associate Dean of Trade and Technology at WGTC. She brings a wealth of experience and a commitment to excellence to her new role.

Before joining WGTC, Montgomery was an Associate Professor of Logistics and Supply Chain Management at Georgia Highlands College, where she designed, developed, and taught courses in the Bachelor of Business Administration pathway. As a Quality Matters peer reviewer, she played an integral role in certifying courses for accessibility for online learners. Montgomery is an Air Force Veteran who started her career in Logistics and Supply Chain Management in 2000. She holds a Master of Science in Logistics and Supply Chain Management from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University and is currently pursuing a Doctor of Business Administration at Georgia State University.

Montgomery is excited to take on her new role as Dean of the School of Trade and Technology at WGTC. “I am honored to step into this new role and continue my journey with West Georgia Technical College,” she said. “I look forward to collaborating with our faculty and staff to enhance our programs and provide more opportunities for our students.”
