Rupert Murdoch, a media mogul who was born in Australia 93 years ago, tied the knot for the fifth time. His bride, retired Russian molecular biologist Elena Zhukova, 67, is the mother of Dasha, the ex-wife of oligarch Roman Abramovich. According to reports from The Sun, which is part of Murdoch’s editorial group, Mrs. Murdoch looked stunning in white with a bouquet of lilies of the valley while her elderly husband was dressed in a dark suit, white shirt and yellow tie.
Murdoch has six children from his previous marriages and despite his advanced age he remains actively involved in the media industry as the founder of an empire that includes publications like Sky and Fox News. He remains the President Emeritus of News Corp, a media conglomerate that includes The Sun, The Times, The Wall Street Journal, HarperCollins, MarketWatch and The Australian.
