Kansas City Chiefs wide receiver Mecole Hardman is set to return to the team after spending a few months as a free agent. Reports indicate that the Chiefs and Hardman have agreed on a new contract.

Originally drafted by the Chiefs in the second round in 2019, Hardman has spent most of his career with the team. He briefly played five games with the Jets last season, during which he caught only one pass. However, he is best known for catching the game-winning touchdown for the Chiefs in the Super Bowl.

As he returns to the team, Hardman will be joining a receiving corps that now includes first-round pick Xavier Worthy and free agent acquisition Hollywood Brown. This move adds depth and talent to the Chiefs’ offense as they prepare for the upcoming season.
