The Eagles have strengthened their offensive line group with the addition of veteran guard Max Scharping to their 90-man roster. A former second-round pick by the Texans in 2019, Scharping started 35 out of 50 games he played for the team during his first three seasons.

In 2022, he was claimed off waivers by the Bengals and went on to play 31 regular season games, as well as making three playoff starts in place of Alex Cappa in the postseason. With his experience and versatility, Scharping will add depth and competition to the Eagles’ offensive line group as they prepare for the upcoming season.

Meanwhile in Philadelphia, Landon Dickerson is set to be the left guard while Cam Jurgens is moving from right guard to center position. The Eagles also have other guard options available such as Tyler Steen, Matt Hennessey and rookie Trevor Keegan. With this addition of Scharping, the Eagles offensive line group is now stronger and more competitive than ever before.
