Maven Collective, a new business in Fargo, is catering to working moms by providing on-site childcare. The soft opening for this rentable, female-centric, co-working event space took place on June 3. Located at the old Avalon Events Center in downtown Fargo, at 613 First Ave. N., Suite 300, Maven Collective features a large working space with a reception area on the second floor and a children’s center, six offices, a nap room, and mother’s rooms on the third floor.

Women can purchase memberships for private offices or community workspaces that offer on-site childcare, aimed at helping them balance work and family life. During the soft opening, owner Shelby Beach mentioned that people had the opportunity to provide feedback for the upcoming grand opening. Maven Collective plans to host various events throughout the summer to attract visitors, showcase the space and discuss what they have to offer.

Beach stated that the business is still a work in progress and interested individuals can begin booking today or tomorrow. In addition to being used as a workspace, Maven Collective can also be rented out for events. More information about costs and availability can be found on their website.
