During a recent appearance on Hot 97’s Ebro in the Morning, Martin Lawrence addressed concerns about his health after a video from the Bad Boys: Ride or Die premiere went viral. In the clip, Lawrence and co-star Will Smith were seen on top of a bus addressing the crowd, with fans noting Lawrence looked less energetic than Smith.

When directly asked about his health, Lawrence reassured fans that he was healthy and blessed to be waking up every day. He emphasized that despite previous health challenges, including incidents in 1996 and 1999 that resulted in hospitalizations, he was in good health and had no need for concern.

Lawrence also joked about being surprised by the size of the crowds during the premiere and jokingly said he was “healthy as hell.” Towards the end of the interview, he addressed speculators by saying that he was grateful for each day he wakes up and continues to work on projects like Bad Boys 4.
