Martin Lawrence recently appeared on an episode of Hot 97’s “Ebro in the Morning” to address concerns about his health during the press tour for “Bad Boys: Ride or Die.” Fans were worried after a video interview showed Lawrence appearing to slur his words and a premiere where he appeared unsteady. However, Lawrence assured everyone that he is healthy and doing well.

When asked about his reaction to the crowd size at the premiere, Lawrence explained that he was simply surprised by the huge turnout. He emphasized that he is grateful for each day he wakes up and that there is no need for people to be concerned about his health.

During the interview, Lawrence also stated emphatically that he is “healthy as hell” and urged fans to stop spreading rumors. This reassurance may have been necessary due to his previous health scare in 1999 when he collapsed from severe heat exhaustion.

“Bad Boys: Ride or Die” is the latest installment in Lawrence and Will Smith’s action franchise, and early reviews have been positive. Variety critic Owen Gleiberman praised the film and the two stars for delivering top-notch performances. The movie is set to hit theaters on June 7th.
