Manchester United’s talented striker, Mason Greenwood, is being pursued by Lazio this summer. The Serie A giants are eager to add the young star to their squad and have engaged in negotiations with United. Lazio’s president, Claudio Lotito, is leading the talks and is determined to secure Greenwood’s services for the upcoming season.

In order to meet United’s asking price of €40m, Lazio has offered a deal worth €18m plus a 50% sell-on clause. Additionally, the Italian club is willing to include goalkeeper Christos Mandas in the deal. Mandas is also being pursued by Manchester City, who have previously made an unsuccessful bid for the goalkeeper.

If Manchester United prefers to include Mandas in the deal, Lazio is prepared to offer him as part of a separate agreement. The club is willing to provide an additional €18m cash bid along with Mandas to sweeten the deal for Greenwood. Lazio is determined to bolster their squad with top talent this summer and sees Greenwood as a key addition to their team.

Negotiations are ongoing between both clubs as they work towards a mutually beneficial agreement that will satisfy all parties involved.
