On the morning of Monday, June 24, a man was arrested and is currently facing charges after causing chaos at a business in Southeast Minot. The police department stated that a 40-year-old man without a permanent address had an argument with another customer at the business and threatened to harm everyone present.

Upon arrival, officers found the suspect involved in a heated argument with another individual. Despite being instructed by the officers, the man did not cooperate and was eventually apprehended and taken to the Ward County Jail. He is currently being charged with seven counts of Terrorizing and Preventing Arrest or Discharge of Other Duties, all of which are classified as Class C Felonies.

Luckily, no injuries were reported during this incident, and it was deemed to be an isolated event. The Minot Police Department has assured the public that there is no further threat to their safety.
