During the Braves’ recent game against the San Francisco Giants, second baseman Ozzie Albies hit a foul ball that went directly into the dugout and made contact with manager Brian Snitker’s groin. Despite the impact, Snitker appeared to be okay and even cracked a smile. The Braves broadcasters joked about the incident, making lighthearted comments about it.

Following the game, Snitker said that he told Albies he took his “best ball” when asked how he was feeling. The win was a significant one for the Braves as they improved their record to 47-37 and moved into a good position in the NL wild-card race. They were now nine games behind the Philadelphia Phillies in the NL East. Despite this unfortunate incident, it was still a successful game for the Braves, thanks to strong pitching from Chris Sale and solid hitting from Adam Duvall and Austin Riley. Both Duvall and Riley contributed RBI doubles to help secure the victory.
