Tara Berry, a resident of Topeka, Kansas, recently made history by breaking the Guinness World Record for having the most tattoos of the same musician on her body. Berry’s passion for pop icon Madonna led her to get 18 tattoos of the singer etched on her body, earning her a place in the record books. This achievement surpassed British woman Nikki Patterson who previously held the record with 15 tattoos of rapper Eminem.
Berry’s love for Madonna began in 2016 when she saw an announcement that the singer was looking for tattooed fans to appear in a music video. Although Berry’s tattoos were not completed in time for the video, she continued adding more Madonna tattoos over a six-month period. Inspired by the previous record, she decided to aim for breaking it and collaborated with her tattoo artist to create stunning ink renditions of the iconic pop star.
The Madonna tattoos on Berry’s body depict various images from the singer’s illustrious career, including a recreation of the memorable kiss between Madonna and Britney Spears at the 2003 MTV Video Music Awards. Berry spoke about how proud she is to show off her inked arms and how many people often ask to take pictures and videos of them.
