M6 Group, through its subsidiary Gulli, has announced the acquisition of La Boite Aux Enfants, a leading indoor children’s playground in France. This acquisition includes ownership by Bpifrance, Turenne Groupe, M Capital, Aurore de Lacombe, and Gaëtan Le Jariel. The move is in line with M6 Group’s strategy to invest in family-oriented businesses centered around Gulli, the top children’s channel in France.

La Boite Aux Enfants was founded by Gaëtan Le Jariel and co-directed by Aurore de Lacombe in 2011 and currently operates 25 indoor parks in France. These parks cater to children aged 1 to 12 through various activities like adventure circuits, sports, and birthday entertainment. They also provide a safe environment for parent-child bonding. With an expected turnover of 18 million euros in 2024 and approximately 2 million visitors, La Boite Aux Enfants is set to expand further by creating new parks in shopping centers and through external growth opportunities. The parks will also introduce new attractions and event programming featuring Gulli’s popular characters.

Gulli is a popular children’s channel on DTT with a growing audience share among children aged 4-10. The channel also offers digital applications for free on all screens. By acquiring La Boite Aux Enfants, Gulli aims to provide families across France with play and leisure facilities where they can enjoy unique moments of togetherness and relaxation.
