The LSU Tigers kicked off their 2025 recruiting cycle on a high note, bringing in several highly sought-after prospects. Among them is top-10 recruit and nation’s top defensive back DJ Pickett, who will be visiting this weekend along with five-star receivers Kaliq Lockett and Jaime Ffrench.

Ffrench, who was previously committed to Alabama, recently decommitted following Nick Saban’s retirement. Joining them are five-star cornerback Dorian Brew, five-star offensive lineman Solomon Thomas (currently committed to Florida State), and four-star defensive lineman Zion Williams. LSU’s recruiting class already ranks in the top five nationally, standing at fifth per 247Sports and second per On3.

The potential to retain current commitments while adding more top-tier talent could make this class truly exceptional.
