In baseball, Simon Kenton defeated Shelby County 3-0 and South Oldham beat Walton-Verona 7-3 in the Eighth Region tournament. In the Ninth Region, Conner won against Beechwood 2-0, Covington Catholic defeated Highlands 12-9, Dixie Heights beat Newport Central Catholic 12-2 in 5 innings, and Ryle won against St. Henry 11-1.
In softball, Campbell County won over George Rogers Clark 21-6 in 4 innings, Highlands beat Cooper 7-4, and Notre Dame defeated Conner 4-3 in the Ninth Region. In the Tenth Region, Mason County beat Pendleton County 3-1 while Montgomery County won against Bishop Brossart
