Lippes Mathias LLP, a Buffalo-based law firm, has recently acquired CCBLaw, a Syracuse-based law firm specializing in legal services to clients in the health care industry. This acquisition was announced on Monday and now means that Lippes Mathias has a presence in every major city in New York.

As part of the acquisition, eleven attorneys and eight staff members from CCBLaw will join Lippes Mathias. The CCBLaw team will continue to operate out of their current office location at 507 Plum St. CCBLaw offers legal and consulting services to a range of health care clients, including medical practices, physicians, dentists, hospitals, and other health care facilities nationwide.

Marc S. Beckman, one of the founding members of CCBLaw, will co-lead Lippes Mathias’ health care practice team with Brigid M. Maloney, an existing partner at Lippes Mathias. This move expands Lippes Mathias’ reach to 15 offices across the country, including cities such as Albany, Buffalo, New York City, and Syracuse.
