Across the country, LGBTQ lawmakers are fighting for equality and representation in state and federal governments during Pride Month. From Delaware to California, individuals are advocating for change and progress in the LGBTQ community. In Oklahoma City, small businesses like Common Dear, DNA Galleries, Folk.Life, Craig’s Emporium, and The Floating Bookshop are offering a variety of Pride merchandise and products to support the LGBTQ community.

Common Dear, a queer-owned shop located on 9th Street, provides a range of Pride gear from apparel to home goods. Owners also operate Johnny and June, offering unique gifts. DNA Galleries in the Plaza District features art from queer artists and LGBTQ+-related enamel pins and stickers. Folk.Life offers handmade clothing, gifts, and Pride-related items like beaded jewelry and garlands. Craig’s Emporium, located in a rainbow building, is stocked with Pride merchandise including flags, apparel, books, and more. The Floating Bookshop downtown provides a selection of LGBTQ+ fiction and nonfiction literary works for individuals to enjoy during Pride Month.
