The Outlaw Music Festival in Georgia was set to feature legendary singer Willie Nelson on Friday. However, due to health reasons, Nelson was forced to cancel his performance and rest for four days as advised by doctors. Despite this setback, it is expected that he will make a quick recovery and rejoin the tour next week. In his absence, his son Lukas Nelson and the Family Band paid tribute to him by performing covers of his classic songs and other hits.

Nelson, who is 91 years old, is expected to fully recover and return to the stage next week. Luckily, other scheduled performers such as Bob Dylan, Robert Plant, and Alison Krauss were still set to take the stage as planned. The festival opened on Friday without Nelson’s performance but fans can look forward to seeing him back on stage next week as he continues to share his iconic music with audiences everywhere.
