The Las Vegas Aces are on a mission to win their third consecutive WNBA championship, making history as the second franchise to achieve this feat. However, it’s not just their championship aspirations that have made them stand out this season. The Aces have already sold out all of their regular-season home games, becoming the first WNBA team to do so.

The milestone was announced on Thursday, with eight home games played and 12 more scheduled for the remainder of the season. Two of these upcoming games will be held at the larger T-Mobile Arena, which seats 18,000 compared to the Aces’ usual home arena at Michelob Ultra Arena, which seats 12,000. The last remaining tickets for these games were sold out on Thursday.

This achievement follows another historic accomplishment by the Aces – they sold out all of their season tickets back in March. Last season, Las Vegas set a new attendance record for the league with an average attendance of 9,551 fans per game and a single-game attendance record of 17,406 fans at T-Mobile Arena against the Phoenix Mercury.

This year, Las Vegas is averaging just over 10,379 fans per game and ranking fourth in the league in attendance. However, despite this lower attendance compared to last year, they are still leading Indiana Fever in attendance with an average of 16,757 fans per game this season.

In addition to their success on the court and in attendance records, Las Vegas has also been ranked as one of the most valuable franchises in the league by Sportico with a value of $140 million. As they face off against Connecticut Sun on Friday night in what could be a pivotal Western Conference matchup for both teams’ playoff hopes, it seems like nothing can stop this talented team from achieving its goals both on and off the court.
