Kylian Mbappe was back in action for France after breaking his nose in their Euro 2024 opener against Austria. In a practice match against German club Paderborn’s under-21 side, Mbappe scored twice while wearing a protective mask. The match consisted of two 30-minute halves, and Mbappe played the entire game.
Despite missing the goalless draw against the Netherlands, Mbappe returned to the field alongside his other unused teammates for a behind-closed-doors friendly. In addition to his two goals, he also contributed two assists during the match. France’s captain showed his determination and skill by playing through his injury and leading by example on the pitch.
