On Tuesday, June 11 in California City, Kern County Public Health will be hosting a Know Your Numbers Program at the California City Parks and Recreation. The event will take place from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m., and participants will have the opportunity to receive two free health screenings to assess their body mass index, blood pressure, blood glucose, and cholesterol levels before and after six weeks of nutrition coaching.

The program aims to provide valuable information and resources to help residents improve their overall health and well-being. Following the initial health screenings, fitness and nutrition classes will be held on Tuesdays from June 18 through June 23, from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. These classes are open to the public, even if individuals did not attend the initial health screening.
