Recently, Kilgore College in Texas held a ceremony to reveal the name of their new health science education center. The facility will be known as the Torrence Health Science Education Center in honor of Billy and Kay Torrence, who made a significant donation to the project.
During the ceremony, attendees got a first look at the new facility as it neared completion. This represents a major investment in health science education for Kilgore College. The center is expected to be finished in July, just in time for the fall semester classes to begin.
The Torrence Center will be the first of its kind for a community college and will feature new classrooms and advanced lab facilities for health science programs. In addition, there will be an expansion of CHRISTUS Good Shepherd’s presence near the existing Emergency Center.
