The Kentucky Wildcats and Texas A&M Aggies will face off in the second game of the College World Series on Monday night at 6:00 p.m. CT/7:00 p.m. ET. This matchup will take place in the winner’s bracket, while Florida and NC State will play in the loser’s bracket.

In their first game of the series against NC State, Kentucky trailed 4-3 heading into the ninth inning. However, a solo home run by Ryan Nicholson in the ninth and a walk-off solo home run by Mitch Daly in the 10th inning resulted in Kentucky’s first-ever victory in a College World Series game.

Kentucky has made it to Omaha for their fourth time this year, while Texas A&M is making their eighth appearance. Despite this being their eighth appearance, A&M has never won an NCAA Championship.

The last time these two teams met was in 2023, where Aggies won the series 2-1 in College Station. Currently, A&M leads the all-time series with a record of 13-8.
