A recent survey conducted by the Kentucky Science Center received an unexpectedly high level of interest, with over 2,600 responses. This prompted the center’s board members to tour popular spots in Bowling Green, including Downtown and Lost River Cave, in order to determine the feasibility of opening a branch in the city.

During their visit, the board members were impressed by the potential benefits of a science center in Bowling Green. Telia Butler, Downtown Development Coordinator for the City of Bowling Green, believes that such a center would be beneficial for locals, residents, tourists and overall quality of life in the city. She is confident that the project will come to fruition and is just a matter of deciding on a location, size and building date.
