Katy Perry has bid farewell to her role as a judge on “American Idol,” announcing that she would not be returning for the next season. Instead, she hit the runway at Vogue World: Paris in a daring outfit that turned heads. The former judge sported a black, cut-out dress by Noir Kei Ninomiya, accentuated with soft pink and black tulle on the skirt. Paired with lace-up black boot heels and slicked-back black hair, Perry led a marching band in the eye-catching ensemble.

During the fashion show at Place Vendôme in Paris, Perry received some walking tips from FKA Twigs and Cara Delevingne, who encouraged her to exude a sense of purpose in her stride. Perry is known for hits like “Dark Horse” and will be releasing a new single titled “Woman’s World” on July 11, following her departure from “American Idol” after seven seasons.

Other celebrities like Kendall Jenner, Sabrina Carpenter, Bad Bunny, Gigi Hadid, Serena Williams, and Ciara were also in attendance at Vogue World. The event combined sports such as gymnastics, tennis, and fencing with various decades of French fashion, dating back to the 1920s. Bad Bunny and French singer-songwriter Aya Nakumura performed at the fashion show, which has previously been held in New York and London.

After her final episode as a judge on “American Idol,” Perry is ready to explore new opportunities and bring fresh music to her fans. With her departure from the show after seven seasons, the search is on for a replacement who can fill her shoes and bring their own unique flair to the judge’s panel.
