Juventus is actively pursuing OGC Nice midfielder Khephren Thuram, with reports suggesting that they are willing to pay between €15-18m for his signature. This move is separate from the ongoing contract negotiations with Adrien Rabiot, as Juventus has grown impatient with the midfielder’s slow progress in reaching an agreement.

According to transfer expert Gianluca Di Marzio, Juventus is chasing Thuram hard, and this interest comes after the Bianconeri had been keeping a close eye on him as a potential backup option for Rabiot. The French midfielder’s contract with OGC Nice expires in June 2025, and he has expressed no intention of renewing it. This makes him an attractive option for Juventus as they look for cost-effective signings.

Thuram has already earned one senior cap for the French national team at just 23 years old, making him a promising talent. Born to former Juventus defender Lilian Thuram and younger brother Marcus Thuram, who plays for Inter Milan, Khephren has strong ties to Italian football. He spent part of his childhood in Turin when his father played for Juventus before leaving the club in 2006. Other Italian clubs like Milan have also shown interest in Thuram, but Juventus appears to be leading the race for his signature.

As Juventus continues its pursuit of Thuram, it remains to be seen whether Rabiot will agree to a new contract with the club or if he will leave on a free transfer. However, regardless of what happens with Rabiot’s contract situation, Juventus appears determined to add Thuram to its roster this summer.
