Juventus is determined to bolster their squad for the upcoming season with new coach Thiago Motta at the helm. The team’s director, Cristiano Giuntoli, has set his sights on Teun Koopmeiners as a key transfer target and is preparing to reach out to Atalanta with a new offer.

Koopmeiners is highly coveted by the Bianconeri, who admire his impressive performances during his time at Atalanta. Despite missing out on the European Championship due to a muscle injury, he remains a top priority for Juventus as they seek to secure his services for the upcoming season.

In addition to Koopmeiners, Juventus is also working on potential deals for Douglas Luiz from Aston Villa and Giovanni Di Lorenzo from Napoli. These signings would help reinforce Juventus’ midfield and defense, respectively.

Giuntoli has reportedly been in discussions with Atalanta regarding a new offer for Koopmeiners, which could include talented defender Dean Huijsen in the deal. The midfielder comes with a hefty price tag of €60m, but Juventus believes that he would be an excellent addition to their squad and worth the investment.

Koopmeiners is eager to join Juventus and has reportedly agreed to the terms of a five-year contract worth approximately €4m net per season with additional bonuses. If successful in acquiring Koopmeiners’ services, Juventus could have a strong starting lineup for the upcoming season under Motta’s leadership.
