The new Jurassic World movie has added another exciting cast member, David Iacono. Alongside Scarlett Johansson, the ensemble cast includes Mahershala Ali, Jonathan Bailey, Manuel Garcia-Rulfo, Rupert Friend, and Luna Blaise. Production for the film is set to begin in mid-June in London, with Gareth Edwards directing.

David Iacono has been keeping busy lately with various roles in TV shows and films. He recently appeared in Jennifer Esposito’s upcoming directorial debut Fresh Kills, Netflix’s Dead Boy Detectives, and season two of Amazon Prime Video’s YA series The Summer I Turned Pretty. He also played Eli Briscoe in season two of HBO Max’s The Flight Attendant and appeared in Tubi and Village Roadshow’s thriller Cinnamon.

While Universal has not revealed much about the storyline of the new Jurassic World movie, it is expected to feature dinosaurs and have a completely new plot. The original screenwriter of Jurassic Park and The Lost World: Jurassic Park, David Koepp, will be writing the screenplay for this upcoming film. It is scheduled for release in theaters on July 2, 2025, and is executive produced by Steven Spielberg through Amblin Entertainment
