At Julian Thomas Elementary School in Racine, fifth graders were recognized for their outstanding participation in a nearly two-month-long Fresh Air Science Fair. The fair kicked off on February 1st, with students forming teams and creating projects that brought to life the concepts of clean air pollution. Entries were judged based on the quality of research and data analysis, as well as the creativity of their presentations.

On Wednesday, March 27th, an award assembly was held where the winners were announced and prizes were distributed. The event was attended by special guests such as the Milwaukee Bucks mascot Bango and the trampoline dunking team, the Rim Rockers. The first-place team members received three tickets to the April 10 Bucks game against the Orlando Magic, along with transportation to and from the game and concession stand vouchers for use at Fiserv Forum during the game. Second and third place teams received Bucks merchandise as prizes.

This successful event was made possible through a collaboration between Modine, the Milwaukee Bucks, Racine Unified School District, and the United Way of Racine County. A big congratulations goes out to all the winners of the Fresh Air Science Fair at Julian Thomas Elementary School in Racine!
