Jamestown Regional Medical Center is excited to host the monthly “JRMC U: Health & Wealth” educational seminar on Tuesday, June 11th from 11 a.m. to noon at Two Rivers Activity Center in Jamestown. The event will feature special guest Doug Olson, senior vice president and regional manager at Thompson & Associates, who will be sharing insights on establishing and fulfilling a plan for financial wellness.

With over 25 years of experience in the financial services industry, Olson will cover topics such as reducing health care expenses through insurance options like health savings accounts, managing high deductible health plans, estate planning, maximizing employer benefits, and understanding the latest rules around Medicare and Social Security claiming strategies.

Tonya Perkins, JRMC Foundation director, emphasized the importance of making smart decisions in both health and financial areas and expressed excitement for offering practical strategies to the community. “We want to help people make informed decisions about their health and wellness,” said Perkins. “By providing valuable information and resources through our JRMC U classes and seminars, we hope to support overall well-being.”
