Joywave, a renowned indie rock band from Rochester, has announced their upcoming 2024 Permanent Pleasure World Tour along with the release of their film, Permanent Pleasure: A Film by Joywave. The band is set to perform songs from their fifth studio album, Permanent Pleasure, which will be released on May 17.

The tour will begin on September 11 in Toronto, Canada and end on November 14 in Utrecht, Netherlands. The US leg of the tour will feature HUNNY as the opening act. Presale tickets will be available starting at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, May 15 (Eastern Standard Time), followed by general ticket sales on Friday, May 17.

Fans interested in meeting the band can attend a Q&A session following the film premiere on May 16 at The Little Theatre on East Avenue. The film will only be shown for one night but fans who are unable to attend in person can watch it live online.

In addition to the tour and film screening, Joywave has released a special deluxe pop-out figurine version of the vinyl that includes a Permanent Pleasure fleece catnip plush toy, a Glow In The Dark Beam T-shirt, a hand-painted cat figurine and a sleeping mask. This limited edition bundle is available for purchase on the Joywave website.
