The independent sports media brand, Jomboy Media, has partnered with Bally Sports to bring its “Warehouse Games” franchise to a mainstream linear platform. This partnership marks the first time these games will be featured on a mainstream linear platform.

Jomboy Media will produce multiple one-hour episodes showcasing content from the 2023 and 2024 Warehouse Games. The series is set to launch on Sunday, June 30, across Bally Sports’ 17 regional sports networks and its Bally Sports app.

Founder Jimmy “Jomboy” O’Brien expressed his excitement for this opportunity, stating that the goal was to create high-production sports leagues with a backyard-BBQ feel. The company invested in developing new games, franchises, personalities, and league formats to produce a TV-quality product that enhances the friendly competition and banter of pick-up games.

The partnership with Bally Sports will also include coverage of all Warehouse Games matchups featuring Jomboy Media personalities and special guests like broadcaster Chris Rose, former MLB player Trevor Plouffe, and cricket legend Daren Sammy, across two different competition formats (Franchise Series and Captains League). Additionally, the deal with Bally Sports will feature MLB player and manager interviews from the “Chris Rose Rotation,” the baseball trivia game “RefGuess,” and video-essay deep dives from Jolly Olive on Bally Sports+.

Jomboy Media’s COO Courtney Hirsch believes that this partnership will introduce Warehouse Games to a new audience and showcase the company’s ability to craft captivating formats across digital, linear, and other viewing platforms. This collaboration is seen as a significant opportunity to bring Warehouse Games to a wider audience and attract new fans to the franchise.

In conclusion, this partnership between Jomboy Media and Bally Sports brings an exciting opportunity for viewers who love high-production sports leagues with a backyard-BBQ feel.
