Cheryl Woods, Division Director of Family Health Services at the Macomb County Health Department, is thrilled to announce that the department and Baby Resource Network of Macomb are joining forces to host a FREE Infant Safety Expo on Saturday, April 27 from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at Love Life Family Christian Center in Eastpointe.

Pregnant individuals and parents or caregivers of infants under one year old are encouraged to attend this no-cost event, which will provide valuable information and resources on safe sleep practices, CPR and choking prevention, breastfeeding, and more. All attendees will receive a free gift and can participate in a raffle for prizes. Local vendors will also be present to offer additional educational resources.

The Infant Safety Expo is an opportunity for parents and caregivers to learn more about how to keep their babies safe and healthy. It’s important for new parents to feel confident in their ability to care for their baby, but it can be overwhelming at times,” said Woods.” This event aims to provide that support by providing practical information and resources that can help ease those uncertainties.”
