Jin-Ho’s Legacy Propels Korea’s Archery Excellence: From Olympic Titles to Inspiring the Next Generation

Forty-five years ago, Jin-Ho began her international career and would go on to accumulate seven world championship podiums and nine medals at the Asian Games. Among these medals, she won five gold medals, setting the stage for Korean women’s dominance in archery. In 2020, Jin-Ho was honored with the International Olympic Committee Women and Sport Award for Asia for her work in increasing female representation in the sport.

Now, Jin-Ho works as a professor at the Korean National Sport University, where she passes on her knowledge and experience to the next generation of athletes.
