On Wednesday, the Jets made a roster move by signing offensive lineman Kohl Levao and waiving offensive lineman Vitaliy Gurman in a corresponding move. Most recently, Levao played for the San Antonio Brahmas of the UFL where he was named to the all-UFL team. During the spring, he played both guard spots after previously lining up at center and guard for the University of Hawaii. In 2021, Levao allowed only one sack and was an All-Mountain West honorable mention with a pass protection success rate of 97 percent. He has experience playing at left guard, center, right guard, and right tackle.

Gurman, who was signed by the Jets’ practice squad during the final week of the 2023 regular season, entered the league as an undrafted free agent from Toledo and started his career with the Raiders in 2023. He was part of the Raiders’ final cuts and later signed to Las Vegas’ practice squad. Gurman spent most of 2023 on the Cardinals’ practice squad before eventually joining the Jets.
