A 57-acre sports complex called Jennings Sports Park is set to open in central Ohio this fall. Located at 5414 Piatt Road in Lewis Center next to the mixed-use Evans Farms, the park will feature six fields that can be adapted for baseball, football, lacrosse, and soccer. It is expected to attract more than 500,000 visitors annually.

The park is being built by The Windsor Companies, with founder Alexius J. Dorsey leading the project. Dorsey believes that the park will be a vibrant hub where sports, community, and the potential of youth intersect, promoting values like discipline, resilience, and teamwork. Each field at Jennings Sports Park will have advanced lighting, a video scoreboard, and high-definition camera for livestreaming events. A 50,000-square-foot pavilion with a concession stand and restroom facilities will be built during the project’s second phase, with four fields converging around it.

Recently, the park secured a $6.7 million bond package approved by the Delaware County Finance Authority to help complete key infrastructure improvements. This includes storm drainage, sanitary pipe lines
