In the Paris leg of the Global Champions Tour, Jeanne Sadran emerged victorious in a thrilling jump-off. The young French rider and her eleven-year-old stallion Dexter delivered a faultless performance to claim the top spot. With a prize of over 100,000 euros on offer, Sadran was able to take home a significant portion of the total prize money, which totalled just over 300,000 euros.

Four pairs were able to complete the normal round without any faults and progressed to the jump-off. However, it was American rider Kent Farrington on Myla who came in second, with third place going to Norwegian rider Johan-Sebastian Gulliksen on America. Despite being slower than Sadran in the decisive round, these riders were still able to secure impressive rankings.

However, it wasn’t all good news for German riders in this competition. Philipp Schulze Topphoff and Carla finished twelfth and thirteenth respectively, marking a disappointing result for the country’s show jumping community.

After eight out of 15 stages, Spaniard Eduardo Alvarez Aznar remains atop the overall ranking, with Christian Kukuk from Riesenbeck and Max Kühner representing Austria closely behind. With several stages remaining before the final showdown in Zurich, it remains to be seen who will emerge as the ultimate champions of this year’s Global Champions Tour.
