The upcoming Ostrava Golden Spike, which is part of the World Athletics Continental Tour Gold series, will feature highly anticipated competitions in javelin and 100m.

Among the competitors in javelin are top athletes Neeraj Chopra, Jakub Vadlejch, and Anderson Peters, who have renewed their rivalry in Czechia. Chopra, who recently won the world indoor pole vault gold in Glasgow, kicked off his outdoor season with a victory in Doha where he cleared 4.73m. He will face tough competition from Vadlejch and Peters, who claimed the top three spots at the Doha Diamond League.

Caudery, who recently won the world indoor pole vault gold in Glasgow, will also be competing in javelin at Ostrava. She will face tough competition from Czech record-holder Amalie Svabikova and Golden Spike winner Tina Sutej. Caudery has been dominant indoors this season and she is looking forward to testing her skills against these strong competitors outdoors.

De Grasse, the Olympic 200m champion from Canada, will be competing in the 100m race at the Ostrava Golden Spike. He will be up against Olympic 100m champion Marcell Jacobs as well as other strong contenders like Trayvon Bromell, Ryiem Forde, and Reece Prescod. De Grasse is one of the fastest men on Earth and he’s looking forward to showing off his speed against these talented runners.

Other star competitors like Mondo Duplantis (pole vault), Gianmarco Tamberi (high jump), Haruka Kitaguchi (hammer throw), Steven Gardiner (400m hurdles) and Ewa Swoboda (110m hurdles) are also set to compete at Ostrava Golden Spike event which promises an exciting and highly competitive event for athletics fans around the world.
