Japan’s commitment to excellence in the airline industry has been recognized once again as two major carriers, All Nippon Airways (ANA) and Japan Airlines (JAL), have been ranked among the top ten airlines globally in the World Airline Awards by Skytrax. The prestigious list is based on data collected from Skytrax’s annual airline passenger satisfaction survey conducted between September 2023 and May 2024, out of over 350 airlines surveyed.

Despite a slight decrease in their positions compared to last year’s rankings, ANA achieved fourth place this year, while Japan Airlines claimed the sixth spot. Nevertheless, both airlines have demonstrated high standards in air travel and further solidified Japan’s reputation as a world-class airline industry leader.

In addition to their overall rankings, ANA was recognized for their outstanding airport services, airline staff in Asia, and cabin crew in Japan. Meanwhile, Japan Airlines received accolades for having the best Premium Economy Class and the best Premium Economy Class airline seat globally.
