JAL Infotec, a subsidiary of Japan Airlines (JAL), and FPT Software have recently entered into a memorandum of understanding (MoU) to collaborate on developing IT systems for both the aviation and non-aviation industries, as well as to share technical expertise. The main goal of this partnership is to create new service values, reduce costs, and lead time for non-aviation business activities of JAL Infotec and JIT. This will be achieved by leveraging artificial intelligence (AI), the internet of things (IoT), and cloud technologies to offer innovative solutions to customers.

FPT Software plans to allocate resources in Japan and other global markets in order to establish a team that will provide digital services and solutions for JIT as part of this agreement. The partnership between FPT Software and JAL Infotec was first initiated in 2005, with FPT Software playing a key role in developing business systems for JAL Infotec since then.

JAL Infotec CEO Koyama Hideyuki expressed his satisfaction with the ongoing collaboration between FPT Software and JAL Infotec, which has not only benefited their organizations but also other large customers. He also hopes that this partnership will strengthen the relationship between Vietnam and Japan.

FPT Software’s senior executive vice president and FPT Japan CEO, Do Van Khac, emphasized that building trust over the past two decades has been the foundation of their partnership with JAL Infotec. He expressed confidence in the success of this collaboration, citing FPT Software’s commitment to supporting JAL’s digital transformation and driving the business growth of both companies.
