The Adriatic is expected to see showers with the possibility of thunderstorms in some areas tomorrow, according to DHMZ Director General Ivan Güttler. In the afternoon, cloudiness is expected to decrease and precipitation will stop from the northwest. On a calmer day on the continent, orange warnings are still in place in coastal zones.

Güttler advised following the radar image of DHMZ to track larger clouds and warned of the possibility of more precipitation in coming hours. Yesterday, Slavonia was hit by a storm, especially in Bosniac, where more rain is still expected. Güttler issued a red alert for extreme weather conditions observed today and cautioned people to be careful during repairs.

Tomorrow, Zagreb and Karlovy Vary regions are in green while the east of Croatia is still under emergency status. The wind is expected to be weak to moderate from northeast, north, east and northwest while a moderate to strong gale is forecasted on the Adriatic with stormy gusts at Velebit’s foot and northwesterly winds transitioning to southerly in south. Morning temperatures will range between 14-19°C while on Adriatic it will be between 18-23°C with highest daily temperatures ranging between 23-28°C with slightly cooler temperatures in lower mountains.
