Their tour began in Grottaglie, where they were welcomed to the ceramics district and toured artisan workshops to learn about the rich culture of ceramics.

From Grottaglie, the group traveled to Alberobello to explore the iconic trulli structures, designated as a UNESCO heritage site. They were greeted warmly by locals, including a beloved village merchant named Maria, who expressed her gratitude and excitement to meet the distinguished guests. A delicious lunch featuring local specialties was enjoyed at a restaurant housed in a historic underground site.

The tour culminated in Martina Franca, where they were greeted by the mayor and given a tour of Palazzo Ducale, a historic building with beautifully frescoed rooms.
