The Rising in Cyber list, compiled by over 100 Chief Information Security Officers (CISOs) of prominent companies and corporations, showcases the most promising cyber companies in the United States. What is surprising is that the list includes several Israeli firms such as Gomboc, Oligo, Wing, Astrix, Descope, Grip, Cyera, Drata, Island, Orca, and Wiz. In fact, over a third of the 30 companies on the list are from Israel.

The list features companies in three categories based on their stage of development: early-stage companies that have raised up to $35 million; intermediate-stage companies that have raised up to $100 million; and advanced-stage companies that have raised over $100 million. Collectively, these companies have raised more than $6 billion and generate over $1 billion in revenue annually.

Gomboc and Oligo are among the early-stage category companies while Astrix and Descope are intermediate-stage category. Cyera and Drata fall under advanced-stage category along with Israeli startups Island Orca and Wiz. These Israeli startups stand out for their agility and ability to adapt quickly to market needs leading to rapid growth or quick course corrections.

According to Oren Junger, managing partner at Notable Capital, the Rising in Cyber list highlights Israel’s significant impact on the global market. He explains how Israeli entrepreneurs bridge cultural and linguistic gaps to provide innovative technology solutions to major American companies. Additionally, he emphasizes that with the increasing sophistication of cyber attacks due to artificial intelligence technologies’ development there is a growing need for more robust and advanced cybersecurity solutions which Israeli startups excel at developing.

Overall this list underscores Israel’s growing influence in shaping the future of cybersecurity in America with its innovative solutions catering to evolving threats.
