In the past year, Israeli Transport Minister Miri Regev made official visits to five countries: Morocco, Georgia, Mexico, India, and Sri Lanka. Responding to a request from the Derech Tslakha organization, the Ministry published data on the cost of these visits to taxpayers. The total cost of these visits was approximately 1 million shekels, excluding security expenses.

The most expensive visit was to Morocco, where Regev traveled with a large delegation for a week and cost 370 thousand shekels. A visit to India and Sri Lanka cost 255 thousand shekels each. A visit to Mexico cost 295 thousand shekels.

Responding to a request from the Derech Tslakha organization, the Israeli Transport Ministry published data on the cost of official visits made by Transport Minister Miri Regev in the past year. These visits took place in five countries: Morocco, Georgia, Mexico, India, and Sri Lanka. The total cost of these visits was approximately 1 million shekels excluding security expenses.

The most expensive trip was to Morocco where Regev traveled with a large delegation for a week at a total cost of 370 thousand shekels. Visits to India and Sri Lanka were also quite expensive as they cost 255 thousand shekels each while visiting Mexico was slightly less expensive at 295 thousand shekels per trip.
