Reports indicate that Israeli forces have launched air strikes on tents occupied by displaced Palestinians in al-Mawasi, northwest of Rafah in Gaza. The bombing has resulted in the death of at least seven people and many others have been injured. According to reports from the Wafa news agency, some of the tents caught fire due to the bombing.

Al-Mawasi had been designated as a humanitarian zone by the Israeli military for civilians who had been displaced by attacks in other parts of Gaza. However, it appears that Israeli forces have violated this designation and targeted these tents with deadly force.

Further reports from Wafa indicate that Israeli forces have also targeted tents southwest of Khan Yunis in southern Gaza. Fortunately, there have been no casualties reported from this incident. In addition, the Saudi neighborhood west of Rafah and several homes in al-Mughraqa, north of the Nuseirat camp in central Gaza, have also been bombarded with no confirmed casualties as of now.

As more information becomes available on these attacks, we will provide updates on this developing story.
